Check iDiscover. This will indicate whether there is print or electronic access, and for which years. Electronic access will only be possible using RAVEN logins. Login to iDiscover to maximise your options.

Use the NHS Library & Knowledge Hub to check if the journals you want are accessible using NHS OpenAthens. Login, and then either “browse journals” or search for the specific article you want.(register for NHS ATHENS)

E-books

E-books are available to all Medical Library users – but the range of ebooks will vary depending on whther you have a University RAVEN login, or NHS OpenAthens, just as with journals.

E-books are searchable full-text electronic versions of a print book. You can use an e-book for quick reference, read a chapter, or read the whole book. It is possible to search the text, add bookmarks, and add your own notes. With e-books you will never be faced with overdue items, fines, or heavy books to carry. It is impossible to lose or damage an e-book.

The simplest way to locate and access ebooks is via iDiscover or ebooks@cambridge. or to login to NHS Library & Knowledge Hub, using NHS OpenAthens.
