E-books are available to all Medical Library users. You have access to a wide collection of e-books covering all aspects of medicine. E-books are searchable full-text electronic versions of a print book. You can use an e-book for quick reference, read a chapter, or read the whole book. It is possible to search the text, add bookmarks, and add your own notes. With e-books you will never be faced with overdue items, fines, or heavy books to carry. It is impossible to lose or damage an e-book. The simplest way to locate and access ebooks is via iDiscover or ebooks@cambridge.
A list of current medical e-books provided by the University of Cambridge is available here.
All library users have access from within the Library. Members of the University of Cambridge can also access e-books everywhere else within the University, and off campus using their Raven logins. For more information on using e-books on mobile devices go here. The University of Cambridge guide to ebooks is also full of useful information.
