In July, our resource of the month was an app swap, in which we shared some of our favourite apps for study and research. We also did things a little differently this month — we asked YOU for your own suggestions of useful apps, via Twitter, Instagram, and our comments board in the library.
Which time-management apps do you use? Share them with us here. #resourceofthemonth pic.twitter.com/CKMpMpliZH

We kicked things off with some suggestions of good time management apps: Trello and Pomodoro. We had some good suggestions come in via our comments board, and another endorsement of Trello:
We've had another recommendation for Trello from @Contact_CUH . The Medical Library team use Trello for long-term projects (including scheduling and allocating responsibility for these Resource of the Month) tweets! #resourceofthemonth https://t.co/uEZVknAE2e

The next week, our theme was writing apps, and we recommended Evernote.
We'll start things off by recommending Evernote – a great app for getting your thoughts down when you're on the go: https://t.co/40zZcZiKOd
It's available for iOS and Android devices.

We had some recommendations come in for Synced and Google Keep, and another vote for Evernote.

In the final week of our app swap, we recommended the CASP app, which lets you carry out critical appraisal via your phone or tablet.
To help get you started, we're recommending the CASP app, which helps you critically appraise articles (this includes doing statistical calculations) from your mobile device. It's free for iOS devices here: https://t.co/WVKxtiyWO9
