If you have an Athens login (available to all NHS staff, as well as students doing their training with the NHS, such as University of Cambridge clinical students), you have access to BMJ Best Practice, which is a great point-of-care tool to support you in your clinical work. The way you access BMJ Best Practice has changed, and the steps are now as follows:
1. Go to the Best Practice website. You’ll see options to access via the website or download the app.
2. If accessing via the website, click ‘access BMJ Best Practice’ and follow the instructions. You will need an Athens login.
3. If you want to access via the app, you need to have registered with BMJ Best Practice first, so follow the instructions to do so. Once your account is registered, you can download the app either from the BMJ Best Practice website, or from the Apple or Google stores.
Full instructions on how to access Best Practice via the website or the app can be found on the Best Practice website.
