Getting published in Nature’s ‘Scientific Data’ journal
Date: Monday 11 January, 13.30am – 18.00pm
Venue: Hodgkin Huxley Seminar room, Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, Downing Street, CB2 3EG.
Did you know that Nature Publishing Group has a dedicated journal ‘Scientific Data’ for publishing scientific data? An excellent way to get citations for the research data that you share. Articles in ‘Scientific Data’ can describe data from new or published studies, and can be published alongside traditional research works.
Come to our event on 11 January to talk directly to “Scientific Data” editors and to learn about getting your data published and cited.
The discussion will be around 3 main topics:
- How to publish your data
- Sharing your data via the Cambridge data repository
- How to share useful data
Read the full programme and register here.
The event is open to everyone, but spaces are limited (only 40 tickets available). There will be a networking session (drinks and snacks sponsored by Scientific Data) afterwards.
