December has arrived in appropriately snowy style, and it’s time to unveil a new resource for everyone planning to spend the winter hard at work on a systematic review. This is the Medical Library’s own systematic reviews advent calendar, which you can access here. It’s Day 1, and the first ‘window’ in the calendar has been revealed. You can see what it is by going to the calendar and clicking on the first image you see. If you bookmark the calendar, you’ll be able to see new posts as they appear each day. We’ll also be linking to them on Twitter.
The training team has been hard at work putting together a comprehensive selection of resources which will support you through every stage of your systematic review, from the early days of planning, through to searching, screening, appraising, writing up, and submitting for publication. Each day (yes, even on weekends), a new ‘window’ on the calendar will open, revealing the resource for that day. Once all the contents of the advent calendar have been revealed, they’ll remain online permanently as a resource you can consult at any time. And of course you are welcome to contact the Medical Library for further help and support with your systematic reviews, as well as any other study or research you’re undertaking.
