Those of you who have visited the library in recent weeks might have noticed a new set of bookshelves near the enquiry desk slowly filling up with books. This is our Quick Picks collection, where we’ve gathered together some of our most popular and most frequently borrowed books so that you can find them quickly and easily.

You can borrow these books in just the same way as you would a book in the regular collection — simply find the book(s) you want, and bring them to the enquiry desk for borrowing. The borrowing period for Quick Picks books is the same as for all other books in the library: four weeks, with the option to renew up to four times as long as no one else has requested the book. Quick Picks books count towards your five-item borrowing limit.
