You may be aware that our group Learn space is available for group bookings by those who want a private room with a data projector and PCs to use for training, presentation practice, revision and more. What you may not know is that this room, when not booked, is available for all as an additional space to work and study.

The Learn space has ten PCs (plus the lectern PC) with the same logins you use on other library PCs — meaning if the other PCs in the Share space are in use, there are others available. This also provides the option of a quieter room with PCs if you find the Share space a little noisy for your preferences (although remember that we have earplugs and noise cancelling headphones available for free for any library user who wants them).

A timetable of bookings will be printed up every Friday evening, and will be updated throughout the week, so that you know when the room is likely to be occupied. Any times the room is not being used for training or some other group booking, you are free to use it for individual study.
