During August the Research Councils UK on behalf of the UK Open Research Data Forum released a draft Concordat on Open Research Data for which they have sought feedback.
The Universities of Bristol, Cambridge, Manchester, Nottingham and Oxford prepared a joint response which was sent to the RCUK on 28 September 2015. Read their response.
The UK Open Research Data Forum was established early in 2014, following a meeting at the Royal Society to follow up the findings and recommendations of the report Science as an Open Enterprise.
It is made up of individuals representing funders, universities and research institutes, learned societies, libraries, publishers, and a range of other bodies that provide technical expertise relating to research data. The Forum normally meets twice a year. The RIN provides the secretariat for the Forum.
