It is with very mixed feelings that we say goodbye to Peter Morgan, who retires today after 39 years as Medical Librarian.

Peter has seen the Medical Library through a huge number of changes including the relocation of the library and  two phases of redevelopment of the space. But the significant impact developments in technology have had on medicine and medical education have changed the delivery of library services beyond all recognition from when he first arrived. Through all this his leadership has been clear, steady and innovative.

As well as a great librarian, Peter has become a great friend, and we wish him all the best for the future.
