The University has recently launched www.data.cam.ac.uk, a resource of information on Research Data Management including data repositories and compliance with funder policies on open data.
If you would like to know more about research data requirements and help offered by the University of Cambridge, come to the lunchtime ‘Open Data’ session (open to all researchers, staff and research students at the University of Cambridge).
There are three sessions, at three different locations:
- Thursday 16 April, Mill Lane Lecture Room 5, 12:30 – 13:30, register here
- Wednesday 6 May, Clinical School Seminar Room 3, 11:30 – 12:30, register here
- Wednesday 13 May, Institute for Manufacturing LT1&2, 12:30 – 13:30, register here
We are also running a dedicated Open Data session for research students:
- Monday, 20 April, Mill Lane Lecture Room 5, 12:30 – 13:30, register here
Open Data lunchtime sessions will provide you with all the necessary information you need to know about your funder requirements for research data sharing, explain how to avoid sanctions for non-compliance with your funder policies and allow you to ask any questions you might have directly to the Open Data team.
