This month our Resource of the month series focused on NHS information sources. We explored the different types of information that are available through NHS Evidence Search
Week 1
We began with a very broad general introduction to NHS Evidence Search. This searchable site allows you to sort results by date or relevance. Results can be filtered by evidence type, source and area of interest.
We begin with Nice Evidence search which provides access to authoritative evidence in health and social care https://t.co/g0B9QnxOGG

Week 2
During the second week, we began focusing in on specific parts of Evidence Search. BNF or British National Formulary is available for adults and children (BNFC).
This week #resourceofthemonth is BNF https://t.co/AwxLjtSqsV This is a useful source of info on drugs which can be searched or browsed.

Week 3
A good place to go to get quick information on medical conditions is the NICE Clinical Knowledge Summaries (CKS). CKS includes a summary of the condition, information on the management of the condition and prescribing information.
CKS provide a summary of the current evidence and give guidance on over 330 conditions encountered in primary care https://t.co/K7jmKaKiqP

Week 4
If you need to find a pathway, standard or NICE guidance for a particular condition then Evidence Search is the place to look, as they are all available in one place.
You can access care standards, pathways and NICE guidance through https://t.co/YQDpcotG7a #resourceofthemonth #NICE
