In April our #ResourceOfTheMonth has been focusing on creating conference posters. We’ve been highlighting resources that you may find useful when designing and presenting a conference poster.
We began by highlighting a blog which has been written by Colin Purrington with some good advice for creating conference posters.
A good starting place for information about creating conference posters is Colin Purrington’s blog which can be found here https://t.co/tW47kauy0I Included in the blog are tips for designing your poster and for how you can present your poster at conferences.

Next we recommended Pixabay as a source of royalty free images.
Conference posters should ideally have images on them, so today we’re recommending Pixabay, which is a good source of royalty-free images if you don’t have your own images to use. Access it here: https://t.co/WNjEnnen8F

Once you have prepared your poster you will be ready to print it, these are some suggestions of places where you can print your poster.
Today we’re pointing out places to print your poster. If you are based on the Biomedical Campus, your conference poster can be printed at the Media Studio: https://t.co/UnaKwueKwV They also have some guidance on creating conference posters: https://t.co/ha0SLdKovX

Wherever you choose to print your poster, make sure you allow enough time, as the printing service may not be able to print your work immediately.
