During February our #resourceofthemonth has been lesser known databases, for when PubMed isn’t enough.

We began with Global health.

We begin with Global health. It is a database which covers all aspects of public health including international health, epidemiology, nutrition, environmental and occupational health. It can be accessed here https://t.co/FZLpYtcuhS by University of Cambridge staff and students.

Next we introduced the Trip database which can be accessed here.

The next lesser known database for our #resourceofthemonth is @tripdatabase It is a clinical search engine which allows you to search not just research but other information including patient information leaflets, clinical guidelines from the UK and other countries.

If you are looking for information about Latin America, Portugal, Spain and South Africa then SciELO is a database you may find helpful.

This week our #resourceofthemonth is the SciELO citation index. It can be searched via their webpage https://t.co/faH811hO0N or in Web of Science. This is a database which covers sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities from Latin America, Portugal, Spain and South Africa.

The final database we highlighted was ASSIA which can be accessed here for University of Cambridge staff and students.

The final database in this series of #resourceofthemonth is ASSIA (Applied Social Sciences Index and Abstracts). Its journals cover aspects of health and social care from a social scientific perspective.
