Our resource of the month for August was a series of NHS tools and websites available for free online. No login is required, and they’re all the sort of resource that can be searched and checked quickly, while on the go in a busy ward. Their content is all verified and accredited, and appropriate for the NHS.
First up, we recommended NICE Evidence Search, a trustworthy source of information in health, social care and public health.
Today we're recommending NICE Evidence Search – indispensable for your evidence-based practice. No login required, and it's as easy to search as Google, with trustworthy, reliable information in health, social care, and public health. https://t.co/g0B9QnxOGG

We followed this up with a recommendation for NICE Guidance, which contains reliable, NHS-specific guidance on a range of diseases, conditions and treatments.
Today we're highlighting NICE Guidance – a free, searchable resource with authoritative guidance on a range of diseases, conditions, and other aspects of healthcare. https://t.co/dIg1jwb5Tp

We then recommended the BNF, a great source of information on drugs and prescribing. There’s an app available that amalgamates both the BNF, and the BNF for children (the web-based versions distinguish the two versions of the resource).
Need quick to find, straightforward drugs and prescribing information? The BNF is the place to go. It's easy to search, and available as an app too. https://t.co/AwxLjtSqsV

Our final recommendation was for NICE Journals, a website to search when checking if you have full-text access to a particular journal via NHS Athens.
Do you need to check if you have full-text access to a journal? NICE Journals is the place to search. Simply type in the name of the journal, and find out if you can access it: https://t.co/2FHuUTbAu0

Please also remember that being logged into NHS Athens when searching NICE Journals will increase your full-text access.
