So, the relocation is now complete – we have moved!

Our facilities and services are now as they will be until we return to our “proper” home. 

Opening hours are:

• Monday – Friday 08:00 – 21:50. Please note, last entry to the building is 21:30.
• Saturday 09:00 – 16:50. Please note, last entry to the building is 16:30

Our book fetching service is working well – and is being used by plenty of reader. If we don’t have what you need in our small collection in the library, we can fetch from the main collection the items you need. Order by 09:00, and you can collect 12:00 (weekdays only).

Our document delivery service is also running smoothly: use the online request form and payment system to order the papers that are not available to you via either University subscriptions (check before you order) or NHS ATHENS access (check before you order).

Our skills training programme for the next few months is set up, so you can plan ahead, and book the session you need. Topics and skills include: critical appraisal, writing for publication, systematic reviews, literature searching, reference management, and more Group sessions and one-to-one as you prefer.

We’re still happy to search for topics on your behalf (clinical staff only) – tell us about the question you have, the topic you’re interested in, and we’ll search the literature for you.

We have a study room! With 17 PCs, a printer and scanner, there is now some space for you to come and escape the ….. well, escape everything! While we don’t have NHS intranet access yet, we’re working on it, and will hope to have it set up soon.
