As we prepare for the grand reopening of the Clinical School next week, the Medical Library is taking shape, with layouts, new paint, and a lot of shiny new furniture. You’ll be able to see things for yourselves from 9am on Monday, but here’s a sneak preview.

We’re going for a brighter colour scheme than previously. What do you think?

We will have desks with different heights, to suit everyone.

We’ve got some fabulous new sofas…

…but some familiar old furniture is being reused in new spaces.

There are new look study carrels (and you’ll be pleased to see the bookshelves in the background, full of books for you to browse to your hearts’ content).

We’ve also got great new spaces for group work.
