- There is cleaning equipment available in 5 locations throughout the library so that you can ensure your study space is clean before and after use.
- We recommend that you wash or sanitise your hands regularly.
Face Covering
Cambridge University Libraries are adhering to Government guidelines which now state that face coverings should be worn in libraries and public reading rooms.
We therefore ask readers visiting Cambridge University Libraries to wear a face covering in all areas of our libraries to keep everyone safe.
We are highly sensitive and supportive to those staff and readers who are exempt from the expectation and expect any staff member or library user querying exemptions to do so in a considerate and respectful fashion.

It is more important than ever that we look after ourselves and others. By acting responsibly in the face of this pandemic we stand the greatest chance of minimising the risk of infection and carrying on with our work, study and the things we enjoy. The University and Colleges have put together a clear set of measures, which have been tested and refined in consultation with over 300 students and staff, designed to keep everyone in our community as safe as possible.
