50 years ago the UK, like much of the western world, was in the grip of an epidemic of coronary heart disease. Much has changed between then and now. How was this achieved and how much further have we still to go?
Come to Wolfson College on May 20th to hear Prof Peter Weissberg’s views as he talks about “Winning the fight against heart disease, a charitable view”. Peter Weissberg is a Fellow of Wolfson and Medical Director of the British Heart Foundation. He is also Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
