The NHS Atlas of Variation has been produced by NHS Right Care, with the primary objective to maximise value

• the value that the patient derives from their own care and treatment
• the value the whole population derives from the investment in their healthcare

There have been 5 atlases published so far, with a new one published last week.

• Children and Young People
• Diabetes
• Kidney Disease
• Respiratory Disease
• Liver Disease

The lastest Atlas of Variation is on Diagnositic Services,
