Do you want to present a poster at a conference, but you’re not sure where to start? Do you think your poster-making skills could do with an update? Are you interested in ensuring you’re communicating your research as effectively as possible? The Medical Library has a new course that will help with all this, and more.
Our new poster design course covers tips about content, typeface, alignment and layout, where to source good quality, free graphics, how to include references in your poster, and advice about how best to present it at a conference. The first session is scheduled to run on Tuesday, 5th March from 12-1pm, and there will be repeat sessions roughly once a month throughout the year. To book a place, click here, log in with Raven, and follow the instructions. NHS staff members who want to attend should email the training team on librarytraining@medschl.cam.ac.uk including details of the session, date and time you wish to attend the course.
We look forward to helping you create eye-catching and well laid out posters!
